This is a very convenient way to read since the program offers very stable performance, allows extensive customizations (such as changing font size and screen brightness), and remembers where in the book you last left off. I frequently use this program in the subway, it is great for when you want to relax but you don't have a cell signal to run some other programs.

The real benefit of reading through the Kindle app as opposed to some alternatives is that the checkout process is lightning-fast. You can also frequently get free books for Kindle, so not only am I able to read more conveniently, but more cheaply, too!

I am currently running it on my Droid 2 Global running Froyo (2.2), and have had no problems. It loads quicker and recognizes songs much faster than Shazaam.

Accuracy
It's more successful with background noise interference, and has never been inaccurate with the songs I've tried. This is most important. I rather have it not find anything than find the incorrect song. I listen to a lot of foreign music, and it has been able to recognize nearly everything. The only thing I've had much trouble with is more obscure instrumentals.

Lyrics
It pulls up just about all English/Latin based language lyrics within the app, but Eastern Asian songs will have a handy Google link that will open in your browser. Although it has no trouble displaying Artist and Song titles in Eastern Asian text. There may be some lag every once in a while, but not too often. Also I think there are some minor timing differences between the xbox version making this one slightly easier.
